This section provides ideas for teachers designing courses on the history of the United Nations. It includes the syllabus from an undergraduate course taught in the History Department at Harvard University by Professor Emma Rothschild. The student projects featured on the site emerged from a course on UN history at Harvard University in 2011. The student projects featured on the site emerged from this Harvard course. They show just a few of the possibilities for innovative assignments on UN history that enable students to develop novel and exciting projects. Finally, this section contains a collection of English-language syllabi available online on various themes of international history as well as ideas for designing courses on related topics. These materials will prove a useful starting point for model UN initiatives such as Global Classrooms® Model UN.
