The Subject Centre for History, Classics and Archaeology of the Higher Education Academy
The Subject Centre aims to provide a comprehensive framework for the support and development of learning and teaching in our disciplines, produce and disseminate resources for staff and students, and advise on pedagogy and curriculum enhancement. One of the Subject Centre’s particular strands of work is provide support for linkages between History and Education for Sustainable Development.  

 

The Higher Education Academy
The dedicated sustainability page of the UK body to promote best practice in Higher Education. The purpose of the Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) Project is to help institutions and subject communities develop curricula and pedagogy that will give students the skills and knowledge to live and work sustainably. 

 

Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education
AASHE is an association of colleges and universities in the U.S. and Canada working to create a sustainable future. It was founded in 2006 with a mission to promote sustainability in all sectors of higher education - from governance and operations to curriculum and outreach - through education, communication, research and professional development.
