Aden Knaap is a PhD candidate in the History Department at Harvard University. He is a historian of modern British, European, and international history, with specific interests in legal and intellectual history, imperial history, and the history of international law. He is currently working on a history of international courts in the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
His research has been supported by grants and fellowships from the Social Science Research Council, the American Historical Association, and the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs, among others.
While at Cambridge, he will be working with the papers of British jurists and politicians at the University Archives and Churchill Archives Centre.
