Tohid is undertaking an MPhil in World History at Magdalene College, Cambridge. He is particularly interested in the history of Malawi, the country where both his parents were born. During his MPhil, Tohid is continuing research he started while completing his undergraduate dissertation, which uncovered a detention camp established in Malawi in 1959 under British rule.
Upon completion of his MPhil, Tohid intends to pursue a career in law, training with Hogan Lovells, while continuing to write about Malawian History.
