Countries Map
This visualization shows the locations of UN activities from 1945 to 1989. The darker the colour, the more activities in that country during a given year. There are various filters on the side of the visualization that can be used to change the visualization in order to emphasize a certain region, remove countries, etc.

 

 

Global North vs Global South Map
Like the Countries Map, this visualization is designed to show the geography of the UN but with the added aim of showing the disparity of UN activities between the Global North and Global South. Countries belonging to the Global North are shown in orange and countries belonging to the Global South are shown in red. There are various filters on the side of the visualization that can be used to change the visualization in order to emphasize a certain region, remove countries, etc.

 

 

Line Graph
In this visualization, a line graph allows the user to see the full extent of UN activities from 1945 to 1989 in one image. Each country is designated a line of a different colour. There are various filters on the side of the visualization that can be used to change the visualization in order to emphasize a certain region, remove countries, etc.

 

 

Bar Graph
This visualization is designed to allow comparison in the amount of activities held between a few countries at a time. As with the other visualizations, filters can be used to emphasize different data. It is recommended to use filters on this visualization in order to focus on a few countries at a once. This minimizes excessive scrolling.
