he project, Sites of Asian Interaction: Networks, Ideas, Archives, was one component of the Centre for History and Economics’ programme on Exchanges of Economic, Legal and Political Ideas. It was undertaken at the University of Cambridge and at Harvard University over the period 2010-2014. It was made possible by a grant from the Newton Trust, and developed a theme of an SSRC funded-workshop on ‘Sites of Inter-Asian Interaction’ in Dubai in February 2008.
