Prize Research Grants

The Centre awarded a small number of Mellon Prize Research Grants in connection with the new Cambridge/Harvard research programme on Exchanges of Economic and Political Ideas since 1760, supported by the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. The grants were intended to provide support for research-related expenses for predoctoral students whose interests fell within the broad area of the programme, which is described at Programme Objectives. Grants were awarded in two categories:

(a) for students who had matriculated or intended to matriculate at the University of Cambridge

(b) for students at other universities, who wished to visit Cambridge or Harvard for short periods of time in connection with their research.
