A native of Chicago now living in Cambridge, England, Devin McLachlan graduated from Harvard University in 1996, with an A.B. in Folklore and Mythology; a resident of Dunster House, Devin did his senior thesis on the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society and was for three years the director of Harvard's Immediate Gratification Players. After working as a teacher in Hungary, he returned to Cambridge, Mass. and in 2002, he received an M.Div from Episcopal Divinity School (Cambridge, Mass.), where he later served on the Board of Trustees.
Devin is also an Anglican priest, and has served as a parish priest in Massachusetts, and as a chaplain at the University of Chicago. He is the past president of Grassroots International and of the Hyde Park Transitional Housing Project.
